2. Hosting and connection data
When your browser loads a page, technically necessary connection data – your IP address, the time of access, the requested resource, the status code and the user agent – is processed to deliver the site and keep it stable and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data appears in the logs of the server's edge proxy for a short time.
The site runs on servers of netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Str. 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany, within the European Union. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
3. Visitor statistics
To see how many people visit the site and which pages they read, we run Umami on our own server. Umami sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses; a visit is counted with an identifier that changes daily and cannot be traced back to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No data is passed to third parties.
4. Your choices on this device
If you switch between the light and dark theme, the choice is kept in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device, and you can remove it by clearing the site's data.
5. Email
If you write to us, we use your email address and message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the message concerns a contract). We delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.
6. Links to our apps
Lezio (lezio.app) and Koti (koti.one) are separate sites with their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link there.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, write to the address above.
8. Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. The authority responsible for us is the Thüringer Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (TLfDI), Häßlerstraße 8, 99096 Erfurt, Germany.
